Vandy is excited to be working with La Musica Lirica for the first time this summer.  She has worked as a designer, teacher and technician all over the country for the past 20 years.  She serves as Assistant Professor of Theatre at Wilkes University where she designs sets and lights for the department productions.  Vandy Received her BA from California State University Fullerton, her MA from Villanova University and MFA in Sceneography for UNC Greensboro. Some of her favorite design credits include Urinetown (Interact Theatre Company- CA), Fat Boy (Need Theatre Co.-CA), both of which she was nominated for an LA Weekly Award, Woman and Scarecrow (Villanova University- PA), for which she was nominated for a Broadway Weekly Award- Philadelphia, Charlottes Web (Arkansas Children’s Theatre- AR) and Gruesome Playground Injuries (Paper Lantern Theatre Co.- NC).
