A Fulbright grantee, Dr. Moisés Ruiz de Gauna currently works as repetiteur for the Spanish Radio Television Orchestra (ORTVE,) and as a piano performer and professor. Has performed with conductors such as Joe Rescigno, Josep Pons, Juanjo Mena, Miguel Ángel Gómez-Martínez, Eliahu Inbal, Erik Nielsen, Pablo González and Christian Lindberg. Has made recordings for Radio Clásica, Radio Televisión Española and Radio Televisión del Principado de Asturias, and is part of the Dúo Galdós together with soprano Sonia Rodríguez Bermejo—Resident Duo of the Spanish National Museum of Romanticism for years. Has received various awards and scholarships, and holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts and an Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, a Master in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
