David is the Director of Undergraduate Production at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill overseeing the Kenan Theatre Company. His recent designs include lighting for Murder to Two and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Cape Fear Regional Theatre, lighting and scenery for No Fear and Blues Long Gone; Nina Simone, and lighting for the Pauli Murray Project’s To Buy the Sun.   David also had the pleasure of working with a Robothespian™ (which is exactly what it sounds like) when he designed scenery for The Uncanny Valley written by Francesca Talenti. In addition to his design work he has written a documentary theatre piece, Priceless Gem: An Athlete Story, which tells the stories of UNC athletes. Beyond North Carolina David has worked at theatres in Arizona, California, Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio, and Texas.
