Audrey Hamilton delights in joining La Musicia Lirica as Costume Designer (Le Nozze di Figaro, Rigoletto, Gianni Schicchi).
Audrey earned a BFA in Theatre from the Mississippi University for Women, an MAT in English from the University of West Alabama and an MFA in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Alabama. Recent costume/hair/makeup designs: Die Fledermaus, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, The Ballad of Baby Doe, Cinderella (Opera in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR) La Traviata, Sweeney Todd (Opera Roanoke), Legally Blonde, Spamalot, Night of the Iguana (Washington and Lee University), Wittenberg, Antony and Cleopatra (American Shakespeare Center)Shrek (New Stage, Jackson, MS). Additionally, Audrey served on costume production and crew : La Boheme, Don Giovanni, La Souer, (La Musica Lirica, 2017)
Currently, Audrey is a professor of costume design and technology at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN. Bethel University Costume Design: Cabaret (KCACTF Faculty Design nomination), A Raisin in the Sun, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, Boeing Boeing, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and These Shining Lives.
