This division is for advanced singers that are ready to begin or have already started a professional career as an opera singer. The rehearsals will be run on a professional level. During the first four weeks each participant will receive up to 20 hours of Italian per week, two half-hour weekly coachings with Rossini Opera Festival coaches, and two forty-five minute voice lessons per week. During the fifth week of the program, the students will be able to participate in Master Classes with the resident faculty. The operas will be double cast. Those participants cast in roles will perform two of the four fully stage performances with a professional orchestra under the direction of Maestro Joseph Rescigno.
